We had the opportunity to talk with Yesica
Bopp, one of the best argentinian boxer.
She started fighting when she was teenager, but her family didn´t agree with that. She went to Escuela Municipal
de Boxeo, because she wanted to do exercise. Delfino Perez, box coach, saw her
in the gym and said that she was going to be a boxer.
Six months later than she started training,
she had her first fight exhibition and two months later she had her first fight
for points.
In
2005 she joined the Argentinian box team, participated the Paramericano
Tournament and classified to Indian World Cup, where she had the third place.
In 2007 she fought the same tournament and
won the second place in Russia World Cup. Finally, in 2008 she became a
professional boxer, Bopp reminds as she says “thanks for
the box I knew a new world”.
